Lancelin Swimming Platform

Lancelin has long deserved a swim platform in the bay and with your help we'll get one. The Lancelin District Community Association is asking you to contribute towards the $18k cost of installing a quality swim platform, like the one at Guilderton.

This may be the only chance the town gets to have one installed and if we raise enough cash by February 28th, the platfrom can be in place by Lancelin Colour Blast Day, Saturday the 3rd of March.

You and your kids will love this piece of kit.  It'll be in the bay, 15m-30m from the shore, in calm water, and away from the cray boats that ply the jetty.  You won't be able to get your kids off it; just look at how popular other platforms have proven to be up and down our coast.

But it's up to you to make it happen.  You are going to have to put your hand in your wallet, and if you have a business that's doing alright, please be super- generous with your donation.

It will be in the water for the warmer weather and stored out of the water over winter.  This is a project we’ve been yearning for in Lancelin for years and in just a few weeks it could be floating in the bay in time for the Colour Blast.
