LRSU Sub for Santa Project

Donation protected
It's the time of year for counting our blessing and giving to others in need.  It doesn't seem right to call ourselves ambassadors for our sport and promot responsible citizenship if we're not collectively working together to better our community especially at this time of year.

If you have the means, donate what you can and every dollar will be spent to bless a family in our community that just happens to be member of LRSU.

The family we have in mind has faced a year full of tragedy and hardship. Starting with the loss of their dear son to drowning this summer at just 14 years old. Tucker's birthday is on Christmas day.  His father Harrison has taken the loss of his son with the most difficulty and his dear wife is dreading Christmas as it will be just another reminder of their terrible loss.

To make matters worse, the Smith family home flooded in 2011 and the family (7 in total) have been living in and out of hotels and camp trailers until an employer offered a home for them to stay long terms until their home is repaired.  They are still living here today and unable to move back into their home.

I am working with Mrs. Smith to determine how we can best help them thru this tough time. Anything you can do will help and every dime will be used to benefit the family.

Thank you in advance for your support.

God Bless, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
