Please help send a South Korean Artist EunSookLee to the North Korean Embassy in Berlin!! - 한국어 클릭

This August 15th, 2015, I want to go to Berlin and perform 'KOREA. Bound to One.'
Please join me on August 15 in Berlin for this performance and let's walk together for freedom and unification

Title: "KOREA. Bound to One"
Date  : August 15th, 2015
Start  : South Korean Embassy, Berlin
Botschaft der Republik Korea Stülerstr. 10, 10787
   Berlin, Germany
End     : North Korean Embassy, Berlin
   Glinkastrasse 5-7, 10117 Berlin, Germany

Performance:
The performance will start from the South Korean Embassy by tying two colored threads onto the Korean flag. The colored threads represent the two Koreas.

I will be walking to the North Korean Embassy while unwinding the threads and passing through the Brandenburg Gate.
I hope to bring awareness through this 3km journey.

When I arrive North Korea Embassy two things can happen:

a) North Korean Embassy allows me to tie the thread on North Korean Flag

b) North Korea Embassy won't allow me to tie the thread on the North Korean Flag - in this case I will tie the threads at the Embassy gate.

When the performance is over, people who are walking with me and people of Berlin can cut pieces of the threads and keep them as a symbol of unity for the memory of this event.

I have chosen to perform in Berlin for it's similar historical struggles of division and unification.

WHY 8.15?
August 15, 2015 is the 70th aniversary of
Gwang-Bok-Jeol , the National Liberation Day of Korea. 8.15 signifies independence from imperial Japan but also the ill-fated division of Korea.

Just as it takes more than one person to start a unification process, this performance, wishing for the unification of Korea, will need a lot of your support and help. Please help make this performance a possibility.

My work deals with war-torn families.  My father was displaced during the Korean War and had been seperated from his family. My father settled down in South Korea with my mother. It was only recent that I found out about my father's secret.
I have 4 half brothers and sisters in North Korea
I think this may be the reason why my father refused to take family pictures with my mom in South Korea. Because of his family in North Korea.
Though I am from South Korea, I have done many installation work and performances in Berlin because they have faced division and unification.

For my latest work, I would like to do a performance from the South Korean Embassy to the North Korean Embassy on August 15th 2015 in Berlin.

If you can valunteer or support in any ways, any help would be greatly appreciated!
