Kian's 100 heroes

Donation protected

Kian Musgrove is a 3 year old boy from the North East of England who is battling Neuroblastoma, a particularly aggressive form of childhood cancer.
With all of his treatment options in the UK now all but exhausted and the cancer taking hold
of his tiny body, Kians final chance of survival is to travel to America for a pioneering treatment that could increase his chances of staying with us from 0% (the survival rate from chemotherapy at this stage in his illness) – to as much as 80%.
You know what the next bit is though, right?
This treatment is extremely expensive because it's only available in America (and thus only under private healthcare) and is so new and unique that it costs a not-so-small fortune to administer.
Kian needs £555,000 to start the treatment. His incredible family and friends have done
outstanding work over the last year spreading the word about his plight and raising an astonishing £413,000 towards what initially seemed like an insurmountable figure.
But now things are about as urgent as they get. Kian is becoming more poorly by the day and could need to fly out to America at any time. The continuation of the chemo in the UK is dependent on constant scans and tests, any of which could bring the news that he needs to
fly out now, if he's going to fly out at all.
There's fundraising happening all the time but what we need – to make sure this money is found in time – is an avalanche.
So we're throwing down the gauntlet. I am pledging - along with a bunch of others - right here, right now, to raise £1,000 for Kian as quickly as possible. We're going to find at least 100 people to do the same and be Kians heroes – and in very short order, we're going to
put him on a plane to America for his lifesaving treatment.

I will be raising money by doing a sponsored walk around Blyth Market Square on Saturday the 12th of March, at or around 12pm.
 sounds too easy?
it will be so hard as I myself was born with Myelomeningocele Spina Bifida, a neural tube defect which has left me paralysed waist down and wheelchair bound, I have many other conditions and complications e.g I have no right hip socket or joint, I have chiari Malformation, just to name a few, which have resulted in me having over 100 operations and procedures.

I will be recorded for all to see and if anyone would like to be there to see,  I welcome them :)

I will be using crutches to aid me and my husband and kids will be there to support me and be there if I need them.

Lets get this money raised!
