Justin Brewer's Moving Expenses

Justin and Laura Brewer have made the prayerful decision to leave their home and work in Summersville, West Virginia, to start a new congregation in Bozeman, Montana, this summer. In the northeast and many of the western states, conservative groups are few and far between.  Some states, such as Montana, have no known conservative groups in the entire state. With this knowledge the Brewers see a need and a field white for the harvest. Their love for the Lord and sharing the gospel has brought them to this decision.

A move across the country is very expensive and the Brewers have worked hard to prepare themselves financially. They have worked to be responsible for as much of the amount as they can be. Justin has taken teaching positions with two universities in the area. Laura has sought to provide extra income with ventures she can do from home. They do not wish to burden anyone more than necessary. They have been able to secure some support for the move, but have not yet met the amount they predict they will need. As they prepare to move, no doubt unexpected expenses will occur. If you choose to give monetarily to them, your funds will go towards helping them move their belongings across the country, and helping with living expenses as they settle in Montana. The smallest amount is appreciated, because even a little can go towards buying a tank of gas as they travel and will contribute to the overall amount.

This fundraiser is an appeal to support the Brewers with their short term moving expenses. However, they are still seeking long term support after the initial move. Justin and Laura are not starting this work alone. Justin’s brother, Kris, and his family will also be making the move with them. Some of you may not have had the pleasure of meeting the Brewers, so please allow me to give you a glimpse of the wonderful people that they are, so you may know your money is going to an excellent cause.

Justin has preached for and worked with the congregation in Summersville for the last 3 years. Justin has a sharp mind concerning the scriptures and is able to successfully convey thoughts and principles to his audience. As a teacher he is able to engage others and challenge their personal growth. He has built relationships with the members of the congregation so he can better serve them.

Laura has been a valuable helper to her husband in his work. Her hands are never idle, always working to provide for her home and the congregation. They are raising their two young sons to be obedient, polite, and future servants to the Lord. Both Justin and Laura are hard workers and will use their work ethic and determination to make the most of a work in Bozeman.

There are several older members at the congregation in Summersville, and they have adopted Justin and Laura as their children, and the boys as their grandsons. They care for the Brewers and have treasured the time they have had with them. They do not wish to see them go, but understand the call to Montana. Please consider supporting this family.
