My Name is Shihan Albert Andrews and I have run the Purple Dragon jupiter/Tequesta Dojo in Florida since 2001. In July 2010 we took a team of 15 competitors to the Purple Dragon World Karate Championships in Trinidad. We joined forces with the other USA Purple Dragons and competed sucessessfully winning numerous gold, silver and bronze medals.
Grandmaster Professor Don Jacob is hosting the 2015 World Karate Championships once again, and our team has grown to nearly 30 members, so we are raising funds to help cover cost of accomodations and transport. There are a couple of students whom we would like to help sponsor.
While in Trinidad we will be visiting an orphanage so that our team USA members can bring a cheer to a child and let them know that we do care.
