We are going to keep this going another week or so - our donations are a bit short. there has been some other fundraisers going on in Baker City but according to the family we are still short of paying the burial costs. So if you can share this post with friends we would appreciate it. We need to get this paid. October 18th and 19th, Tank Mango is playing at Pub 181 on Division in SE Portland - They will be dedicating this to Jordan's fundraising efforts. There will be donation cans available and some of the family will be present. If you are able to come out - please do - or if you can share this with your family, friends, church we would really appreciate it. Thank You so much.
From Jordan's Grandma Lori "Our little Jordy Ba Gordy we miss you so much and wish you were here even just long enough for all of us to hug, kiss, and tell you how much you are loved one last time!!!!"
I just received a message from Michelle, Jordan's Mommy. She wants all to know how much she appreciates the support. Things are quite difficult for her - as we all cannot even imagine, but this will help her relieve some of the weight from her shoulders. She says thank you. Michelle, our prayers go out to you and your family.
Comment: From Patricia Baggett : As most of you know, Jordan's great grandma lives with me in Lebanon. And this is overwhelming to her. She is a very strong person, but since she has come back from Baker City and the Celebration of Life gathering, it has become a heavy wedge for her to carry. She wants all to know, what each and everyone of you do to help the family is so appreciated. Many tears are shed now from such a wonderful friend. So keep the family in your prayers and she thanks everyone for what you are doing.
I am so blessed to have had the response on this site so far. People reaching out to those in need. One should never lose faith. We all need to make sure we do what we can for others - as they have done for us. I think we are going to make it to our goal for this family. Keep watching - Send Positive thoughts - Prayers - whatever you can. Thank You so much.
In Memory of Jordan Ryan. RIP little guy. We don't know you - but we love you. Watch over your family, they are very sad.
Please click on this link and donate today - Hug your children, you family, your friends. Tell them you love them. This is an example of how quick your life can change. We have to help this family get thru it by lessening the financial burden. I chatted with Michelle last night (Jordan's momma) and she is so thankful for the relief this will bring. And I thank you for your generosity. Each and every one of you.
Jordan Micheal Ryan, 5, died Sept. 27, 2013, at St. Alphonsus Medical Center Baker City.
There will be a celebration of life at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the Harvest Church. Pastor Brad Phillips will officiate.
Jordan was born on June, 18, 2008, at Portland to Michelle Ryan. During his short life, Jordan loved fishing, swimming, going for rides in the car and looking for wildlife. He also loved telling stories, singing and his "Grandpa time."
Jordan was very proud of the fact that he learned how to ride his bicycle, play football, write his name, say his ABCs and that he could count.
Jordan was a member of the Baker City Harvest Church.
Survivors include his mother, Michelle Ryan; stepfather, Nathan Craig; sister, Sarah; brother, Carlos Ryan; grandparents, Robert and Lori Horn; uncles, William and Wyatt Pifher; and great- grandmother, Judith LeSeur. All are Baker City residents.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Michael LeSeur; cousin, Colton Ryan; and great-grandparents, Ralph and Cathy Ryan.
Prayers to the family today. Jordan's memorial service is at 1:00 in Baker City. Tammy is traveling to Baker City and will travel home this evening, bringing Judy back with her. Safe travels Tammy and Judy. Our love for a very tough day. May your Angels watch over all of you today.
Jordan left his family and friends in a very cruel, horrifying attack on this Friday morning as he was playing in the babysitter's yard with his 2 siblings. A "Rescue" Pit Bull mauled him to death. His mother and siblings, along with the babysitter and others, hearing their screams ran to the yard, to witness Jordan near death. He died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Jordan's family had just moved from Montana to Baker City Oregon to be close to family again.... Michelle, Jordan's mother had started her old job back at the hospital. This event has caused an extreme financial hardship on this family. Jordan is our dear friend, Tammy Lucky's, great nephew. Jordan is also the great grandson of our dear friend Judy LeSuer. Please help this family with funeral expenses and household expenses while they try to heal and get back to what life has dealt. Please make a pledge to help this family. I ask that you stay home and cherish your family as life can change at a moments notice. Do a special project that you have been putting off. Make a memory. You have my personal guarantee that 100% of the money will be given directly to the Funeral Home or to their Landlord. I am a trusted citizen with a caring heart. The funeral costs are $3600.00. They have to have it paid in 30 days. Tammy & Judy are close friends of so many, and have done so much for others in need. Let's help their family. Share this with your friends on FaceBook, your work, your family, your church. Please.
