Hello, I am Jared Hart a freelance artist with over 15 years of experience in creating animation, illustration and graphic design including a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI
Today I am looking to my friends, family, and perfect strangers to believe in my talents and me. Please read about my two projects I will be working on.
Project #1:
Grandma Hates Me - Children’s book
A children’s book dedicated to the loving memory of Rachel Lois Hart.
In June of 2015 my family and I received the devastating news that my Grandmother had past away.
Because of this loss, I decided to start my story of a relationship with my grandmother and myself to cope with the loss.
Grandma Hates Me is a coming of age tale about the struggles of one “boys” differences with a loving member of his family.
This story is based on true events and one boy’s overactive imagination.
I’m looking for funding for a children’s book loosely
based on my childhood experiences with my grandma.
For just a $5.00 donation, you will receive an eBook of Grandma Hates Me once completed.
For just a $25.00 donation or higher you will receive a printed signed copy that will only be available through this donation.
Project #2:
Hyper-realism - art series
I'm asking for funding for an art series I would like to accomplish. Over the next 6 months to a year I would like to create 5 to 7 large-scale drawings in the style of hyper-realism, each drawing will take anywhere from 150 - 500 hours to create. The money raised will help fund the time I need to develop the art series as well as pay for my supplies, the cost of framing, and any additional models I may need; some models will be my friends who have graciously volunteered.
Once the series is complete I will be displaying it around to different areas within Saginaw, MI and the rest of the Tri-Cities (Bay City and Midland). A portion of the profits made from these pieces sold will go to local organizations within the community. I have chosen 3 organizations so far (Saginaw Bay Symphony orchestra, Saginaw "BEANS" Bunny Sign, and Bay City Masonic Temple) and the other organizations be named at a later date.
As a thank you for your support I will send you a signed print from this collection. Please help me accomplish this program, I am grateful for any donation you can make. I want to thank everyone in advance for your help in funding me and for believing in this project and my work as an artist.
