JANANI Post-Partum Hemorrhage Research
Donation protected
This summer, our team of Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise MBA Candidates seek to travel to India to do research on Post-Partum Hemorrhage. Thank you for helping us reach our goal!
The Problem: Deaths from Post-Partum Hemorrhage (PPH), preventable and treatable in most instances, occur almost exclusively in the developing world. Lack of access to proper medical instruments, trained medical professionals, and medicine all contribute to the severity of the problem. As many as 35% of maternal deaths worldwide are caused by PPH.
The Solution: We seek to create a Post-Partum Hemorrhage Kit that is consistent with the needs of the world's most impoverished women.
In collaboration with Ayzh, the revolutionary and globally recognized producer of $2 clean birth kits, our team of four MBA students from Colorado State University will work to engage local Indian communities and businesses to help create the most effective PPH product and solution possible.
Thank you for your time and for helping us with our goal of reducing maternal deaths worldwide!
