Jack\'s Chest Surgery
In case
you don\'t know, my name is Jack Qualls and I am female to male transgendered
which means that I was born physically a female but mentally, I believe I am
male. This fund is to assist in my journey to have
my breasts removed in a procedure called a double incision
reduction performed by Dr. Charles Garramone of Sunrise, FL. http://www.transgenderflorida.com/ If I am able, I would also like a procedure done
simultaneously known as body masculinization which is lipo of the hips and
stomach areas to help give me a more masculine physique. I have come a very long way in my journey and this is
the next step to finally being in the body I feel that I was born to live in. Although I feel that this a dire need in my life, my
insurance considers this to be cosmetic and will not help with the cost. I had
planned to earn and raise every penny myself but because of the deadline set
for the documentary I'm being filmed for, I am afraid I won't be able
to do it alone. My goal date is November 27, 2011. I
would like to have my surgeries take place on this day so they can be included
in the documentary which I hope will help raise positive awareness for the

The confidence I will receive from finally having a body that is in
sync with my mind is indescribable. To finally be able to walk along a
beach like every other man, to wake up and look at myself in the mirror without
getting a feeling of shame or embarrassment. There is nothing in life that
would help me feel more fulfilled than these two surgeries.
