Cuddle Cots for Angels

On May 8th 2015 my wife Megan delivered our beautiful twin babies. Sophia Marie came first at 4:04 in the morning with a heart beat and breathing and her beautiful brother Jack Alexander was born at 4:07 in the morning without a heartbeat. Our beautiful babies became Beautiful Angels. They are gone but never forgotten, loved always and forever. At the hospital where we delivered our twins they had what is called a cuddle cot. A family that lost their child a few years ago donated this in memory of their precious angel baby. Megan and I were so grateful to have one of these available for us to use. We were able to hold our babies and memorize every single one of their features. We were able to hold their little hands and feet and give them a million kisses. Having a cuddle cot available also allowed for family members to meet and hold them and also to have pictures taken to cherish forever. None of this would have been possible without this equipment. Shortly after our beautiful angels were born Megan was rushed to the OR due to complications and if it weren't for the cuddle cot she may not have ever had the chance to hold our beautiful twins Jack and Sophia. The cuddle cot itself is like a bassinet but has a device that is able to keep the temperature at around 47-48 degrees. Without this they would be transported off of the floor shortly after delivery and you would not have enough time with your babies. To be able to keep our babies with us the whole admission made things easier during this heartbreaking and devastating time. We could not imagine not being able to spend this precious time with our babies. Therefore, since so many hospitals local and country wide do not have cuddle cots we are doing fundraisers and taking donations to be able to donate cuddle cots to hospitals that are without them in memory of our babies Jack Alexander and Sophia Marie. That way families that go through what we have gone through will be able to share those same experiences and have that chance to make unforgettable memories. So for those of you who are supporting this cause in memory of our beautiful angels, Megan and I couldn't be more appreciative.
