Motorcycle accident recovery

My name is Trena. My freind  Jessie is a mechanic and was hit by a careless driver on his motorcycle. He was on his way home from work to his wife and 6 month old son. Unfortunatly, he had to undergo surgery for a broken hand and a shattered knee cap. This will prevent Jessie from working for a few months. With his wife on a limited income due to maternity leave, and Jessie not having any income, I am hoping to raise some money to help them out. Jessie does not have short term disability benifits, so this will leave him with out an income for a few months.
