Your donation will help save the life of a child, young adult and others with neurological impairments and brain injuries. If you cant make a donation, you can help fundraising asking others with our cause and non-profit work we do.
We are building a school and tutoring service for children with special needs as well as a National Support Center for educating the public with support services for caregivers, children and survivors of PTSD, MS, TBI, ABI, Autism, Hydrocephalus and more. Many of our members are on Social Security Disability, a fixed income, and can't afford support services.
It is amazing to me about many topics we touch base on to build what we do, whom we help and how we can improve. Disability services for our organization include ending bullying and harassment, educational resources for the public and for clients, home care needs, facilitation, transportation, food, shelter, companionship, peer counseling, and more in-depth local expansion to help on the nationwide market we have established.

As a brain injury survivor and peer counselor for people globally through our support group and one-on-one meetings, we have devoted our lives to assisting those with special needs and advocating for anyone during their time of struggle.
ASBISG.org uses financial support in order to provide brain injury education and peer counseling services for all involved with neurological impairments. Fundraising is required to assist with the many aspects of the services we provide and public awareness. Funds assist meetings online resources, advocacy for public awareness, educational documentation, products such as brain injury awareness bracelets and flyers. These educational resources provide support services for those involved with neurological impairments including autism, multiple sclerosis, brain tumors, aneurisms, hydrocephalus, strokes, traumatic brain injuries and more.
Donations are for peer counseling and social work for the hours and time put in, assist keeping support available, seven day a week phone support services available for clients in distress, conference calls, website development, and assistance for those in need of health care services.
The traumatic and acquired brain injury community is enormous but outpatient and family counseling are not readily available, especially by peers. Families don't understand facts about how to handle many situations. Survivors don't think anyone can understand. We offer this support for adults and children with disabilities using a variety of techniques:
o Case management of mental health services referring clients to credible resources for care establishing short term and long term goals.
o Provide information for treatment services, including both individual and group counseling.
o Provide education of said brain injury including training clients on crisis intervention techniques.
o Supply global support for adults and children with disabilities using a variety of techniques helping to reduce depression, stress, and anxiety, recover reasoning abilities, build confidence, and socialize effectively.
o Interface with community programs to assist in progression in a positive manor
Our continued aim is to focus on having these resources readily available for individuals to handle societal pressures, misinterpretations, and bullying, as well as to provide educational services to the public in local communities.

With an understanding of our strengths, weaknesses and opportunities plus a vision of what Brainworks ASBISG.org. wants to be in the future, answering this question has become clear. To eliminate the weaknesses we may have, a group of advocates working with public neurologists, medical centers, neuroscience institutes, colleges, brain injury alliances in each state, public awareness, and building of local support groups must take place. With technology being the forefront of what we have already established and teamwork with numerous organizations online and offline to promote to reach these goals at hand can take place with the right focus and determination with teamwork from within the community and by reaching outward.
What resources do we have and need?
What we do have is a number of people in the community who need services we can offer to the public. What we need to achieve the goals at hand are organizations to work together for the same cause and agreeing with the same economic development plan we have. Every community has resources who can help one another which we can use: public parks for events, musical events, parades, local colleges who have students who can work as psychology, social work, or OT/PT internships, and referrals for doctors for question and answers about neurology and brain injuries. We can all work together building relationships with each individual personally and by sponsoring the organizations that take part in sponsorship and funding.
