This is my debut album project

*Introduction*

Hi.... my name is Rochelle Frost. I'm a 25 year old singer and songwriter,
born in Wirral and raised in Rugby, UK.

*This is my debut album project.*

My passion for singing started at the age of 8 in my church. This is wheremy roots in music truly began. Singing Gospel and songs of praise and thanks.

As I was growing up, I drew inspiration from legends such as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Toni Braxton and Mariah Carey, I found myself very quickly becoming infatuated with them. Watching them perform live. Listening, studying their music every day and singing along with it.

I would watch videos of Michael Jackson's performances. I would stand there with a hair brush and dance and sing his songs, wishing I could one day be just as big as him.

*The dream had started*...

Years passed and my passion for music continued to grow stronger. I developed an appreciation for many different styles and genres of music.

More years passed and although my confidence in music was growing, my self-confidence was weakening. I struggled believing in my chances of being a recording artist because I had such a low opinion of myself. Most of this was due to a very painful past of bullying and abuse through high school and college. I had been beaten down in too many ways. Shoved to the back of the line in almost everything I tried to do. It was so horrible I began to believe I simply wasn't good enough.

Suddenly, I started to discover more about myself, my voice and what I was capable of achieving.

I started auditioning for everything that could possibly challenge me. Thankfully, I had the support and the love of my parents. They drove me to every audition, every gig and every open mic opportunity. We had very little money at the time, but they practically invested all of it into my dream.

I have been very blessed with an amazingly supportive family and one day I will be able to give back to them for everything they have done and still continue to do for me.

I want my love for the many different genres of music, to come across in my music. I like for every song to be different and to tell a story about life, especially mine. Being such a creative person, every day is different, so I like to inspire others. I like my music to appeal to everyone in some particular way.

From R&B, Country, Soul, Pop to Rock - much of these styles you can hear in my music today.

If I have spoken to someone, helped, inspire a person, made a person smile, dance, laugh or cry through my lyrics, I feel I have achieved everything I wanted in the song.

I am without a giant label to front the gazillions of dollars that it takes to manufacture and promote a record this big.

I have been in L.A. recording with multi-platinum producers who have worked with artists such as Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, Brandy, Cher, Miley Cyrus and Rihanna, just to name a few.

I have also managed to develop a few great relationships with very talented music representatives. They have worked on very successful campaigns and guided the careers of international superstars across all genres of popular music. *They will work with me to make my project a success if I can raise the capital.*

I hope to be heading back to the states to work toward my dream. Everything is in place. *The only thing missing is the funding to complete my project.*



*What We Need and What You Get*

The label that I am signed to is called Westhouse Music. They are a small label that is located in San Diego California. I love being with this label because I will have the freedom to be me in my music, which is very very important!

My label along with myself have forged some great relationships with a couple of music industry giants. They really believe that I have what it takes to make it big in the music industry.

We need at least $130,000 for the production, nationwide US radio, video, along with marketing and promotions for my first single.

If we are blessed to have enough people donate to this cause and receive extra funding beyond the $130,000 needed, it will be used for the production of my first complete album.

Crowd funding platforms, like this one, are the best way to put music out! It allows me to be true to myself. (not being fake or pretending to be something that I'm not), No major label means: no rules, no fuss, just the music and the beautiful art of music!

I hope I can make this happen not only for myself, but for future artists with a burning desire to sing and impact people's lives through music.

My family, friends and fans, mean the world to me. Without them, I would be nothing. More importantly, I thank God for giving me the gift and ability to sing.

It's going to be a very exciting, long and fun journey. I can't wait for the day I look back and say, wow I did it with your support and help!

The cost is high to work with the people that can do this for me, but it is well worth it when all is said and done.
