Kuenstle Family - Flood Relief!

Sunday, July 19th, 2015, was a day that saw record rainfall in much of Southern California.
Sunday, July 19th, 2015, led to highways being washed out, MLB games being cancelled, and flooding in areas that rarely ever see such rain in the summer.
Sunday, July 19th, 2015, disaster struck the family residence of Phil and Moira Kuenstle.
With rain that had continued throughout the day, at around 7 pm, the hillside above the Kuenstle family home began to give way in a torrent of mud and water. Within minutes, it began to come through the doors, and by midnight much of the house was flooded.
While some rooms were saved thanks to the superhuman efforts of neighbors, family friends, and the Kuenstle family members at home, dawn showed extensive damage throughout the house.
This home, full of the memories that Phil and Moira had made in the past 15 years, has suffered tens of thousands of dollars of damage; the full extent of the damage is still unknown (At the time I write this, there are still inches of mud in their garage, where one of their vehicles is still stuck). There was no flood insurance policy on the house.
Phil and Moira have poured their lives into their family, their church, and their community. They are two of the most selfless people you could ever hope to meet. Their home has been one of joy and love. They have raised a family of 6 kids under that roof, all of whom have either graduated from college or who will be attending college this fall. They have done all this in a down-turned economy, during a time when steady, gainful employment has been hard to find.
Moira and Phil Kuenstle are two of the finest people I have ever known. As their son-in-law, I mean this with the greatest sincerity: the way in which they accepted me into their family, the way in which they have cared for me, my wife, and my children, has been nothing less than a tremendous example of true, sacrificial love.
This is why I ask for you to help Phil and Moira rebuild their home and their dreams. Anything that you can give to this incredible family will be tremendously appreciated.
