Update from Jimmy:
"hello everyone it Jimmy, "WOW" what a journey it has been so far. first, thank each and everyone of you for your prayers and well wishes i greatly appreciate them all!! i'm sure everyone is up to speed that i am home now and lovin every minute of it let me tell you. the surgery went well but more extensive then the surgeons had initially anticipated, the tumors were the size of half dollars round and deeper into my jaw then expected, which in turn i lost 10 to 12 of my bottom teeth "yee-ha www",
seriously, if they had to remove them all i wouldnt give a crap. Moday evening while one of the surgeons was makin his rounds he discovered an infection in the incision where they removed 60 lymph nodes by the way and goes from ear to ear, the surgeon began what i and robin would like to call emergency surgery without being knocked out to releive the pressure and drain the infection, that was the craziest and one of the most painful things i every had to do, i will leave the details for one on one conversations, so that delayed my release from the hospital two additional days. On a good note when we met with the surgeon last Friday he said nothing is 100% conclusive until he reviews the entire pathology report, but it there is a good chance i may not need any follow up radiation or chemotherapy!!! We are supposed to go to Jax this friday if not definetly next friday, i will let you guys know how that goes as soon as we get back from the appt. I currently am on a strict dietary liquid diet for the next couple of weeks because of all the reconstructive surgery in my mouth and it is difficult to talk. Im getting better every day but still get tired quickly, lots of recovery to go but if thing keep going the way they are I will be just fine. Speakin of tired Im gonna go lay down now. Thanks again and Love you all!!! Talk to everyone soon and have a Blessed Day!!"
