Help Fund Apple's Recovery

Apple(Chihuahua) was left to by his original owners of 10+ years to their neighbor, to be babysat until their new home could accomodate him, but unfortunately his family were never heard from again.

His most recent care taker, an elderly woman who had just moved into the neighborhood, refused to tell us what Apple had been through while under her care for the past 2 years, and begged me to take care of him because she didn't like his temper, and thought we were better suited since our family had 3 happy and healthy dogs already in our care. She moved away only a few weeks after we had taken him in.

Upon closer examination, I noticed:

1) His back was missing chunks of flesh and fur!

2) He could barely stand on all 4 legs.

3) Almost all of his teeth were shattered/fractured, with his nerves completely exposed.

4) His nails curled into complete spirals.

5) His body was a host to countless fleas.

6) He was extremely defensive and flinched if you approached him

It was apparent to us that Apple had been neglected for years, and It broke our hearts to know that he was just being passed around, owner to owner without proper tender loving care.

There was no way we would allow him to live on through so much pain, torture, suffering, and neglect, so we accepted him into our family.

To make matters worse, his left eye has recently developed an Ulcer that needs to be properly treated. We now have 4 dogs under our care, but providing proper care for all 4 can be very difficult financially, and we need your help.

Help us give Apple a brand new life, pain and suffering free. With all of your donations, we will be able to provide him with quality care:

1) Full dental cleaning, repair, and extractions. (est. $500)

2)Treatment for Ulcer. (est. $200)
