What's all this about? Got pics? Sure do!

Hi.

Some of you know me as Will, some as Cat, and others yet as some other name. It's all me.

You see, for the past couple of years while making items by hand, I noticed two things. The first, is that hand-stitching everything takes a long time, sometimes longer than expected due to broken needles and having to pre-punch particularly thick leather, and it hurts after a while, which means it takes even longer. Another thing is that I'm a lot happier when I'm cranking away on something, something that doesn't come easily to many veterans like myself. With this project, I will be able to do more, for lack of hurting hands, and two, I hope to eventually spread this happiness to other people who need a little time making something wonderful.

How, you might ask? Well, a good portion of it is going straight to tools. Heavy duty sewing machines, leather stamps, finishing devices and products, and other items. Sewing machines like these aren't cheap or easy to come by, after all. Another significant portion is going straight to materials, so that I can make lots of things for lots of people.

To those who I've already promised leather goods to, will see the results of successful campaign funding rather quickly, whether they fund me or not.  I owe it to them, I just can't use my hands as well as I used to.

Others, who donate for specific rewards, will see these rewards almost as quickly. Depending on the workload, well before mid-fall to start of winter for the very last batches, namely after this summer's anticipated hecticness. Assuming I can get things on-hand by June, I expect to be able to update everybody with weekly pictures. It'll be a bit of a work vacation, hopefully, one that I haven't had in a long, long time, and for another's benefit as well. I won't be fluffing off, either. If I'm not working on something, I'm either driving, sleeping, eating, or taking a quick minute to take in the sights. Some things I'll have done before June, even.

Everyone else however, will have their name etched or carved into every handle surface that I can mark, as a reminder and thanks to those people, as well as written on the leather of the rewards I send to others.
Yes, I will photograph the thank-yous and what I wrote the thank-yous on, to send to the person I'm grateful towards.

When I do get my own shop at events and faires, you can bet I'm gonna have a Wall of Fame for those that helped put it there. If you show up to those places? We're re-doing that photo.

I know it's not much, but I am sincerely grateful to those who can help out.
