My brother Julio was in an accident this morning. He was being a Good Samaritan while aiding a stranded couple with starting their car that was on the side of the road and got hit by a speeding vehicle whose driver fled the scene. The person is still being searched for by the authorities.
He is currently in the hospital in stable condition and will undergo surgery later on today. The UCSD Medical Center has a great team taking care of him. Julio is a loving husband and father on two small children. He is the sole provider of his household and this tragedy will put him and his family in great financial hardship as his recovery is expected to take several months. His family is here to help and support him but we appreciate anything that you could do to help.
