Go Tell It! - A Harriet Tubman Christmas

About "Go Tell It! – A Harriet Tubman Christmas Story" (written by Taiwo Kujichagulia-Seitu): – Hearing of the impending sale of her three brothers, on Christmas day in 1854 Harriet Tubman went back to the plantation where she was once enslaved to lead her brothers to freedom. Told through music and dance, Go Tell It! shows how the coded messages in African American Spirituals were used to communicate escape plans. This story of unshakable faith, unwavering determination, and an uncompromising commitment to freedom, leaves audiences feeling inspired and uplifted!

This campaign is raising money to take "Go Tell It!" to London. An opportunity to take the show abroad has presented itself and we are raising funds to help cover travel expenses for cast members.

The previous two productions were wonderful, thanks to all of the wonderful artists involved and generous support from the City of Oakland's Cultural Funding Program. This year's show promises to be even better!

Thank you in advance for your donations and support! They are greatly appreciated. All donors will receive a personally autographed copy of a cast photo.
