An artist with illness needs our help!

Victoria, an artist from Los Angeles has Huntington's Disease. Her life took a turn when she became suddenly ill fifteen years ago, and has become sicker and more disabled every year until she just recently completely lost the ability to walk. She is not able to pay for the special chair that she needs to be able to sit without falling or hurting herself, and her Medi-Cal will not help with coverage.


Vicky hasn't been able to work for many years due to her complex illness which has left her body devastated and without short term memory. She has still in the face of all of these challenges, persisted and made art work with her limited motor skills.

Victoria can not use a normal wheel chair due to her body movements and lack of memory. She attempts to stand up and knocks the chair and herself over. She often has cuts on her legs from moving around in the hard large metal chairs that nursing homes provide.

We finally discovered a chair that can help her, and is designed for people with Huntington's Disease, will not flip over, and has special padding to keep them from hurting themselves.


This Go Fund Me Campaign is for the cost of the Broda 785 Elite Tilt Recliner with HSP (Huntington's Special Padding) chair, as well as some additional medical costs due to her disease.
