EVERBODY that can sing any at all dreams of recording a CD. Many do so on their on as we have before. Many record a CD that should have stayed home ( those of use who really love music wish they had).
So what is different about Verna & I you ask? 49 years ago, God brought us together & we are closer than ever. WE MINISTER THRU MUSIC AS WELL AS THE SPOKEN WORD. Many may not understand what I'm about to say & I would Love to have the priviledge to convince you of the validity of my words.
God spoke to my heart about 12 year ago to take advantage of a recording offer I was hearing on the radio. The funds miraculously came in & we recorded our first CD independently. As a result we have seen MANY people truly blessed. We never had a promoter & as such struggled to get bookings. 5 years ago I was again overwhelmed by the presence of God & He firmly instructed me that now was the time to record the songs He had given me to write. Again the funds came in miraculously thru prayer. Again without a promoter bookings were very hard to come by. We have ALWAYS worked within our local church & therefore few "outside" knew about us.
I began to work the various "social media" to try to get our name "out there".
We have since recorded our 3rd project entitled "Let My Life Be A Light" (using our credit card). We are unable to continue recording on credit yet we both have a sincere burden to share the songs God has put within us with the lost, hurting, discouraged, lonely - in other words THE WORLD. The only way we can do this is via recording these messages in song.
Now the reason for this fund request. Folks, it takes lots of money to record & promote a CD. We are a strictly "BY FAITH" ministry, we never charge a fee, except when the event is a "ticketed" event.
