Feed My Starving Children @ EAHS

Feed My Starving Children, a non-profit company that supplies food to hungry children, will hold a one-day mobile food pack at East Aurora High School on Saturday May 21, 2016.
A mobile pack involves community members taking large quantities of raw food supplies and repackaging them into boxed meals that are distributed to children in need around the world. The meals contain critical nutrients for child development and help speed the recovery from malnourishment and illness. The food is used in orphanages, schools, clinics, and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty in more than 70 countries.
At this time, East Aurora School District 131 has raised funds for a partial pack. However, there is an opportunity to do a full pack, creating more than 100,000 meals. The District’s goal is to raise $7,000, with matching funds provided by the Dunham Fund.
The ultimate goal of the pack is to provide the community with a chance to work side by side with our students to package meals for malnourished children.
Student can also earn community service hours for participating in the two-hour shifts. Thank you for your support in helping us to reach our goal.
