Enough Is Enough West Coast Rally, November 7, 2015

The Biggest Completely Grassroots Rally so far this election cycle, saved at the eleventh hour by our real-life heroes from Veterans for Bernie, by civil servants faithfully serving the civic good, and by a volunteer team that just. won't. quit.

On November 7th thousands of individuals from the bay area and beyond will converge on S.F. Civic Plaza to tell the billionaire class and massive corporations, “ENOUGH is ENOUGH! We the people are taking back democracy!”

Partnered with members of Veterans for Bernie (vetsforbernie.org) our grassroots, volunteer effort will deliver a program of riveting speeches from prominent public figures, activists, as well as extraordinary speeches from ordinary people. Their insight and inspiration will bring ample fuel to the fire of the grassroots political revolution spreading across our country.

But while the recent surge of grassroots activism has been inspiring, establishment politicians and their corporate cronies continue to hurdle down the wrong path carrying us with them. That’s why it’s so crucial the grassroots unite now for this rally: November 7th is the very day the TPP will be made public to make way for a hasty congressional debate and vote. For those of you who don’t know, the TPP is an international trade pact that labor and human rights activists, alongside environmentalist, are calling “a global corporate coup d’état,” and both “the biggest piece of legislation in eight years, and the worst piece of legislation in a generation” (2 minute TPP video: https://goo.gl/ma8gtK). It’s vital that we first kill this catastrophic bill, then get Bernie Sanders into the white house to begin the political revolution he’s talking about!

To that end, the rally will provide space for numerous grassroots campaigning groups (group and event sponsors page) volunteering for the Bernie campaign, along with space for organizations and businesses (groups and event sponsors page) who’ve helped us put on the rally, and who faithfully help make our communities, nation, and entire world a better place. Groups attending will be organizing grassroots campaign training events here in the bay and campaigning caravans into Nevada. This historic day will be just as much about mobilization as it is about inspiration, so join us, Nov. 7th at San Francisco Civic Plaza for the Enough is Enough West Coast Rally.
