Dedza, Malawi Charity for Orphans

My name is Joseph Kabvalo and I am the Director of Linungwi Trust Organization, a non-profit organization that aims to support orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) as well as advocating for the poorest communities nearmy home village of Dedza, Malawi.  The orphans are 7-11 years old.  The children are facing problems in their everyday needs, including lack of food, clothing, shoes, school needs, etc.  I believe that through your compassionate support, anything that you can give may help someone somewhere to enjoy the basic needs of life.

Our charity organization has been helping children for a number of years.  But it is a struggle to raise enough money to provide for their continuous needs.  And the government offers little to no aid.

My vision is to raise enough funds to begin a sustainable farm.  25% of the production from the farm would be used to provide food and other needs to the children.  75% of the proceeds would be used to plant the next season's crops and begin the cycle again.  In this way, we can continuously provide for the children without needing to rely on the constant fundraising that we have been struggling with for years.



Thank you for your kindness in helping with these efforts.  And thank you to everyone who has helped me to create the video and the graphic of my vision so that it can be shared on social media.  I feel that this will bring much good to the children.  It is my prayer that God will help us.
