Aspiring Female DJ

My name is Cynthia I am from New York City and I am 28 years old. I have set my heart on becoming a successful female DJ because music is my life and I enjoy sharing music with others, I have been playing guitar for over 11 years, I sing, currently take voice lessons and play other instruments. I managed to put myself through audio engineering school and successfully graduated in 2007 while working 2 jobs. Despite my best efforts I have not been able to find a steady job in the industry aside from a few dead end internships.
DJ'ing would give me an opportunity to create and share my music with others while applying the skills I acquired in school. I hope to bring people closer together through music and dance while providing them with a fun way to relieve stress from every day life. I really want to start producing So your generosity and support would provide me with the essential tools I need to get myself started. This would help me afford ableton push 2 and ableton live Suite, a new laptop , and an industry standard PA system. I've managed to afford a DJ controller through busking but the above mentioned items are currently not something I can afford at the moment.
