Curing Lyme Disease

Donation protected

My name is Sandra Smith. I am a 45 year old mother of two teenage boys and wife of my high school sweetheart.

In June of 2010,  my husband Mark and I were out for an evening walk when I spotted a huge blackberry patch. We spent a few days picking the berries and I made delicious blackberry jelly for my boys.
Two weeks later, I developed a rash on my neck and had severe joint pain, fever, and flu like symptoms.
I asked my doctor about Lyme Disease and he told me it does not exist in the South.

My symptoms continued with no answers. From 2010 to April 2014, I went from doctor to doctor and even as far as Mayo Clinic searching for an answer.
I have been to every kind of ologist there is and I have received multiple diagnosis and treatment regimens.
I have never improved. I continued to decline until two years ago I was unable to get out of the bed.

In April of 2014, I went to see an Internal medicine/alternative medicine physician. I told him my story about picking the blackberries and he tested me for Lyme Disease. It was positive.

Finally! The right disease. I had been diagnosed and treated for Lupus, Fibromyalgia, CFS, depression, anxiety, Psoriatic arthritis, and was even sent to cognitive behavioral therapy because it was "all in my head".

Because I have had Lyme disease for so many years, it is extremely difficult to treat. I have a port a Cath for 3x weekly IV s. I take antibiotics, supplements, and inject my thighs daily.  Also, the CDC does not recognize Lyme disease can be a chronic condition. The policy they have in place is 30 days of an antibiotic and residual symptoms are post treatment Lyme disease syndrome. How can I have post treatment symptoms when I was never treated?

The following is a small list of symptoms that has completely enveloped my body: debilitating fatigue(like having severe flu), joint pain and damage to spine, knees, hips, elbows, hands and feet, tremors, numb left side of face and lips, brain fog, body feels like moving through molasses, headaches, and food intolerance.

Most of us are searching for a cure because what is available simply doesn't work.

I am asking for help to get me to Klinik St Georg in Bad Aibling Germany. They have a successful Lyme Disease treatment regimen not available in the USA.

Many of you know me as a fully functional human.
I am no longer able to enjoy daily life. I struggle just to function. Once in a while I will be blessed with a day I can go to the store. Sometimes I can go to my 15 year old son's sporting events, but mostly I watch him on face time.

I am humbly asking for help.
Anything you can give to help me get even a ounce of my life back will be recorded in my mind as a most selfless giving act anyone can do.

Thank you

Sandra Smith
