Courtney Jones Wellness Fund

Dear Friends and Supporters,
Courtney Jones of AIP Racing and 1916 Motorcycle and Car Club, the 23 year old daughter of Chris and Sabina Jones, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident on Sunday February 17, 2013 while riding as a passenger. As some of you may know, Courtney suffered major life threatening injuries as a result of this accident. Miraculously, she has begun to recover from some of the most serious injuries that threatened her life. Although Courtney has begun to recover, some of the injuries she sustained will be permanent and life altering.
It saddens me to report that due to the severity of her internal injuries, the doctors at UCLA had no alternative but to amputate both of her legs in order to save her life. Aside from the many challenges Courtney will face recovering from this life altering accident, her greatest challenge will be overcoming the loss of her legs. Despite this tragic outcome, Courtney is in good spirits and is as determined as ever! Watching her fight back from the brink has shown me the true definition of strength and hope. I am personally humbled by her strength and perseverance. Courtney is nothing short of a miracle!
I am sure all of you can understand that the long term financial consequences for Courtney and her family will be insurmountable with out our help. Enormous medical bills, prosthetic costs, physical therapy, home alteration, transportation, etc are just some of the many expenses that lay ahead. I implore you to donate what you can. Money, services, your time, anything that could help Courtney and her family meet their financial obligations. In closing, on behalf of Courtney and the Jones family, I would like to thank each and every one of you that has donated your time, money, held fundraisers in support of the Courtney Jones Wellness Fund, and offered your all around support in Courtney's time of need. We would also like to thank everyone for all the prayers and well wishes from all around the world, the prayers have been heard.
Aside from cash donations, through www.gofundme.com/CourtneyJonesWellnessFund, we are currently seeking any automotive/motorcycle paint and body shops, parts suppliers, etc. to help with a few motorcycle and car projects that have been donated to the Courtney Jones Wellness Fund. Once the projects are completed, these vehicles will be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds going to Courtney and her family. Courtney has been making head way everyday, thanks to all of your support! She is now being removed off of a 24 hour Kidney Dialysis machine and being put on a single pass Dialysis machine. That's a big step forward.

She has been through another Successful IR surgery today.
