Help me get my Art Career & Moved

I apologize in advance but this is quite a read, sorry again.

Well where to start, I got into art for two reasons in particular. The first being I couldn't afford at the time to pay other artist to illustrate what I wanted to come out of my writing, so I decided to pick up drawing and well I found a true calling that I came to love. The second reason only until a while after I started drawing did I discover was that I loved created things from nothing and giving life to these pieces of art.

I may not be the best artist or a professional but I am slowly getting there and wanting to improve and improve, thats all an artist can do is improve their form, even the most professional of artist continue to improve and practice. I want to get to be either a concept artist or get into comics, Im no where near that goal as of now but with your help I can get there. 

I want to also expand my area of expertise to 3D modeling but with my current computer the best I can do is 2d art and nothing 3d. I want to get into the habits of making 3d models and animation whether it be for games or just to express a 2d illustration into a 3d one and give it more life than what it had. I want to create worlds and share them with people.

I improved even for not drawing for so long and I only picked up drawing a few years ago and Ive been self taught ever since.

Here a couple other pics ive done in the past, at the moment ive taking keen interest in doing pinups and things of the sort but I want to expand into concept and create amazing pieces of digital canvas:


Now to what I need help with. My current setup isnt really great for the 3d modeling aspect I wish to get into and it needs to be upgraded to help support what I wish to do. So half of the funds will be going into upgrading this 5 year old heep of a mess to something a bit better so that way I can 3d model and animate.

As for the rest of the funds, they will goto into the pull of funds to live off of the coming months. I was recently let go from my job not more than a couple months ago and haven't been able to obtain work as of late, and Im taking a chance at going through with my art as a current form of paying the bills. With your help I can live and pursue my dreams of being a conceptual artist and 3d modeling and animator. 

I would shoot for a higher goal so that I could goto school but I feel right now that this will be sufficient to start. Anyone also who donates $50 dollars or more will get a free one character commission from me, up to only 10 of these spots can be claimed.

EDIT of Goal: I bumped up the goal because I will also be in need of money to be visiting in California in August for a family commitment and need your guys help, 300 dollars for the plane ticket and 200 dollars for the food over the two weeks ill be there, any help is appreciated and the PC parts will be put on hold til I save up enough for this August Family Commitment. Thank you again.

EDIT 2 of Goal: I bumped it up again by 500 to help cover for moving cost of relocating to my new home and bills. Also added a $20 donation reward for a Character Bust Sketch for those interested. Thank you all again.

EDIT 3: Hey guys updated my goal do to the fact I decided to move to Cali and I need funds to help with the process and have my stuff shipped done to my sister's home. Thank you all so far for the help that you provided.
