Coach Jeff Hinz Memorial Scoreboard

After his fearless and hard fought battle with cancer, Coach Hinz passed away on July 20, 2016. In Coach Hinz’s memory, and at Jeff’s and his family’s request, a memorial fund has been established to purchase a scoreboard at Post Falls High School where he dedicated half of his life and was able to touch the hearts of countless students, teachers and coaches who will never forget the legacy he leaves behind.
We now have the opportunity to give back to our community, as a tribute to Coach Hinz, by raising funds for a much needed multi-purpose scoreboard where all of Jeff’s past & present coaches, players, fans and community, as a tribute to Coach Hinz, supporters will be able to pay their respects to the man who was such an inspiration in their lives. We will also be able to celebrate and honor his son, Parker, and his fellow teammates who will be playing their final season at PFHS without their Father and/or Coach.
The Post Falls School District has offered their full support of these efforts to raise funds for the new scoreboard to honor Jeff’s memory. He gave so much of his time and heart to every person who came in contact with him. We are so grateful for this opportunity to build a symbol representing the courage and character of a life well lived by Jeff Hinz.
