Terrorists Strike Again! Phil Zeleski Still At Large.

Sometime in the evening hours of March 8th the group known as The Vigilant murdered a local Super. The group was quick to claim the kill through Facebook and Twitter. Claiming it as a victory in their war against overbearing super powered humans.
The group first arose in the wake of Amendment 19A, or 'Nanny Legislation' as they call it. The amendment, while controversial added a number of new laws aimed at protecting the normal human population.
A local senator, Bob Decre, had this to say about The Vigilant: "This group of extremists are nothing but power hungry vermin. Phil Zeleski is will be captured and when that happens the people of this city will rejoice."
Are there any plans to call in the Arbiter to help in the search?
"John is enjoying his retirement. We have no plans to interrupt that."
John Hegner aka, The Arbiter aka, The First Super Hero aka, the man that won us both World Wars, was unavailable for comment.

MURDER? Ten years of Peace destroyed by Slaying!

In the early hours of Sunday morning, a body was found by a park jogger. The jogger asked to remain anonymous, but said "The body was torn up really bad. And he was dressed like he belonged at a renaissance faire."
We asked Detective Frank Miller, the last remaining normal human on the police force, his thoughts on the case.
Detective, do you think this could have been caused by the rumored sewer mutants?
"Mutants? Look, I don't know anything about mutants. But if I had to guess, I would say this was caused by two young supers, playing at being heroes. Things got out of control and now one's dead. Simple as that."
But what about all the sightings? You don't think they could be real?
" How many alien sightings has there been? People see what they want to see."
Will you be participating in the investigation?
The detective laughs for a few seconds. "I'm a normal remember? After all that 'nanny legislation' you supers pushed, I'm lucky I get to leave the station at all.
"So no I won't be participating. I will be at my desk, doing paperwork."
The detective's opinion on the law aside. We will be continuing to cover this story as it unfolds.

He has worked with me in the past and his one hell of a nice guy and great to work with. Each of the drawings I have used for my fake newspaper articles was drawn my Manthos.

Manthos lives with his girlfriend in Greece. He spent two years in the States building his reputation and now works with movies, games, and pretty much anything else art based. He even has his first motion picture book released.

New Cover Picture

Here with us today we have the author, Bryan Sevenson. We will be talking about his new graphic novel City of Whispers: Death of the Arbiter.
Bryan Stevenson is your real name correct?
"Correct."
Any relation to Robert Louis Stevenson who wrote, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde?
"None that I'm aware of, unfortunately."
In this the age of the internet and self-publishing, everyone has a pen name. Why did you decide to not use one?
"To be perfectly honest, I couldn't find one that sounded right. Nothing fit me."
So, let's talk about the story. Could you give us your description?
"It's set in Washington DC, and follows the retired super hero, John Hegner, formally known as The Arbiter, as he investigates the murder of a young girl.
"Something you have to understand is that in this world Super Humans (Supers for short) have literally taken over the world. Only a small fraction are still normal humans (Normals.) Because of this, crime is a thing of the past. I mean who would want to rob a bank when a super could be around the corner.
"So for John to hear a scream and find a murder victim... Especially in such gruesome circumstances.
"He decides there's room in his life for one last investigation. What he finds will change not just DC but the world as a whole."
What does he find?
"I can't give away the ending."
I suppose that would be for the best. As a last question, this book is meant to serve as a prequel to a novel. Do you plan to do sequals?
"If this book does well, then that novel will also be converted into a graphic novel. I find planning graphic novels to be considerably more fun then writing out text based ones. It's nice be able to see what I'm describing."
Well it looks like we have run out of space. Check out Mr. Sevenson's GoFundMe page at gofund.me/CityofWhispers and pledge your support to get his book developed. There're rewards for offering donations.

Missing: Kiya Switzer

Relics from Before the Fall.

Spotted in Rock Creek Cemetery, shortly after 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3rd, 2015. Cemetery visitors chased the creature through the grounds and into traffic. But not before the beast dug up a number of grave sites.
"We've known about random genetic anomalies for decades," says, Doctor Andy Belford. "This mutant is just that, a random anomaly. In a world such as ours, anything is possible."
For classes or questions, Doctor Belford can be found teaching at the University of the District of Columbia.
"Remember last year, when those kids dressed up like monsters and scared the children in Fort Chaplin Park? This case is no different. Of course, it's a hoax." Doctor Nate Birkholz told the paper earlier today.
Fact or Hoax. Real or Fiction. One thing is clear to this reporter, we live in an amazing time.

Funding is for:

City of Whispers: The death of The Arbiter - Super Hero Genre

I recently started planning a graphic novel. Originally the plan was to let it function as a prequel to a novel I have been working on for about a year now. But I have been enjoying messing with the graphic novel idea so much that I want to use it as a way to test the market and if it goes well I will be converting my other novel into one as well.

This funding will be specifically to hire and artist and start work on the drawing portion. I plan to hire one to do the basic pencils and then from there i will do the rest of the work. Inking, potential coloring, and setting it all up for print.

Funding breakdown:
Each page will cost me about between 50 to 80 dollars each to have drawn.
Everything left over will go towards a cover art and sending out copies to the people who were kind enough to donate.

I will continue to update this as i create more promotional pictures and as new information arises.
