Hello All,
I received some great news, I am now in total remission From my cancer. It is know time to start my new journey into recovery. I have been accepted into Augsburg College for the fall term (2015). I will be refocusing on Film and religion. Thank you all for supporting me over the last year. My challenge now will be finding the funds to pay for college, Though I will be getting grants, Scholarships, and Student loans. I will still have a financial need for supplies, books and transportation.
As for cancer, I will be regularly seeing the Oncologist, off and on for years to come. I would also like to thank you for visiting this site and considering a donation. All the money raised will go directly to me and my family for daily expenses like food and gas, getting to and from doctor, and getting to and from cancer therapy groups and classes.
Now little bit more about me, I was diagnosed April 16, 2014 with Stage 3 Non-hodgskins B Cell Lymphoma. I had a Softball sized tumor with 6 more residual tumors though out my body. Sense April I have gone though 1 cycle of Chemotherapy consisting of 6 rounds of very strong medication. After the chemo I was treated with 1 month of radiation consisting of 20 treatments.
As a result of the treatments, doctor visits, and numerous hospital stays, my work has suffered. I am an outdoor and commercial photographer who was unable to commit to any long term projects. This has put a financial strain on me and my family. ( I also help out with my elderly parents on a daily bases.) It is going to be along road ahead to recover form this experiance.
I am thankful to be alive fighting the good fight. I am now awaiting the results of the treatments and what my next steps in my journey. This may consist of more Chemotherapy and/or Stem Cell transplants. I would love for you to make a small donation to help out with my daily living expenses and treatment cost.
