On August 29th 2015 I will be paying my way to join a team of people who will gather in Italy for the “Because You Can” Cycle Challenge through the Dolomites. This 73 mile cycle ride is a fundraising event for the #Because You Can organization which was started by niece, Caley (Lawson) Rinker, for people like her dad who have Multiple Sclerosis.
Over 30 years ago my brother in law was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a neurodegenerative disease that slowly robbed him of his ability to walk, stand and even feed himself.

And now I am celebrating my life and health by riding and raising money for people with neurodegenerative disease who need our help.
