What 43 year old Chris Blaszak thought was an infected wisdom tooth turned out to be stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma of the mandible, a life threating form of cancer. After four surgeries totaling 40 hours, the transplant didn't take. Life from that point on was forever changed.
Loving family and friends are now rallying around Chris and his family to provide support in his long journey ahead and fight against this cancer.

A loving father and husband, 20 years dedicated service to the US Air Force 440th unit military police, retired Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom military hero, homicide detective and lieutenant of Milwaukee Police Department of 22 years, Chris Blaszak has been committed to the safety of our hometown community and its people. His exhausting efforts to keep our communities safe has allowed our children, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters to feel more secure knowing that people like Chris fight and win the battle for us every day.
