We are Oregon's Premier Smokeless Cannabis Remedy business and are excited about rocking the Dispensary World. We are the first to offer a full line of Smokeless Cannabis Remedies. Our story began when I helped my dear 80-something year old uncle overcome his neuropathic pain by using Cannabis. He had been hospitalized for 3 weeks on IV morphine. He was never a smoker so he didn't enjoy smoking Cannabis, but he was delighted to be out of pain. He has diabetes so 'brownies' weren't the best choice for a remedy, enter Canna-Capsules and Smokeless Cannabis Remedies to the rescue!
Not long after, we (my beautiful mother and daughter and I) had an appointment with the City of Albany Planning and Building Division who determined that our idea was a brilliant one and that there was certainly a need for our services. We then found a landlord who was willing to rent to such an unusual business, and went to then Chief of Police, Ed Boyd. Mom and I spent an hour with Chief Boyd; he was convinced that our operation would help get rid of some of the abuse in the Oregon Medical Marijuan Program. He said words along that line that although he couldn't give us an official nod of approval, he was impressed with what we were going to do.
We opened our doors on 11/11/11, what a magical day! Not only is it a number full of master numbers, in case you don’t know, it is Veteran's Day. I am a 20 year Veteran of the active and reserve Air Force; it was a very special day to say the least. Here we are three years later without any real advertising (per agreement with Chief Boyd).
Although I have taken thousands of dollars of equity out of my home to keep the business running, the costs are more than I can bear to prepare the facilities we need and obtain the equipment we now need. It will cost several thousand dollars to upgrade facilities to the required standards of the dispensary board. We need to get this done in a timely manner as we will have a limited amount of time (60 short days) once the clock starts ticking, and we cannot be in operation until all approvals are obtained. So that means, no making money while we spend a ton to become compliant. Again.
