**UPDATE** I am very thankful for all the donations to kick-start Africa United, to boldly bring the best West African music and dance entertainment and learning to you. We still have a few months to raise the funds and develop our first tour. Our Go Fund Me was a success. Now we turn to our first conference DJEMBE X, as we share the best djembe music with everyone, and as we move closer to the $50K goal to start AU's first tour! The biggest West African Grandmaster ballet in U.S. history, I united 15 of the foremost Djembefolas and dancers from Guinea, Mali, Senegal, and the Ivory Coast, for an epic performance & U.S tour in 2015!!!
Critical funds are needed to jump-start the performance & tour, a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many in the U.S. and West Africa!
Africa United is meant to enrich humanity with the best and boldest artistry of West Africa -- particularly as the region suffers the impact of the Ebola crisis.
Who we are
We are Bolokada Conde, M'Bemba Bangoura, Youssouf Koumbassa, Moussa Traore, Aziz Faye, Djeneba Sako, Mamady 'Wadaba' Korouma, Sayon Camara, Marietou Camara, Nima Camara, Morikeba Kouyate, Mamady Mansare, Abou Sylla, and top U.S. drummers & dancers.

We are raising $50,000 immediately to debut our first concert in May 2015 in Chicago, and to kick off a multi-city tour to perform for you! A significant portion of the proceeds will go to families in Guinea hit hard by the Ebola crisis.

New Ballet instruments including customized duns & balafons: $3,000
Costuming for 12 – 15 cast members, designed and created by Bolokada: $2,000 - $3,000
Per diem for rehearsal and performance: $18,000 ($150/day for 12 Grandmasters)
Concert DVD production & distribution: $2,000
