Beltania: "Feels like acid".

Donation protected

Beltania was born to Munchkin Sylvester in the Spring of 2005, she is 10 yrs old and when not suffering she loves life and is a pleasure to know.

Beltania is a victim of Flea Bite Dermatitis, she has suffered with this condition all of her life. On a couple of occasions the condition went beyond what could be maintained at home and she has had to have medicines prescribed for her by a veterinarian. She is at this point again and her human in the process of s.s.i. disability, and without means to afford Beltania's medical care.

Beltania has some issues that make her unadoptable to a new family that could afford this medical necessity, and bonded to her human. This condition is treatable enough to not have to end her life - she just needs a little help from people who understand what the love of any creature in this world means to another.

She needs to see a new vet (recently moved to another state), she needs blood work done to determine if her organs can handle the somewhat harsh regimen she will need to go thru with Prednisone, pain killers and possibly antibiotics. Getting her back on an aggressive flea prevention is necessary for her improvement. Due to her sensitivity she needs to be on a better quality feed than she is on now.

It doesn't take much, it is just more than her human can handle right now, please help end Beltania's suffering.

Beltania, is on a Diatomaceous Earth fed worm control and flea removal, which is an organic mild remedy aid. Her current brand of food does not help in her allergies, she does need an upgrade in the nutrition sector.

Ask your heart to understand our love and thank you!

The best regimen for her is 3 days on Prednisone, 3 days off, pain meds as needed, sometimes a mild tranquilizer is administered to calm her nerves. Aggressive flea preventative Advantage Multi for large cats. A round of Drontal will be added if enough funds are collected as a good measure against tape worms which are associated with flea issues, and any other parasites she may have present.

Beltania 2010 So Regal, So Beautiful, So Happy!

Beltania 2013 - after finishing her regimen of steroids.

Beltania 2015 her face, throat, shoulders, and rear (including tail), are swollen from the assault of her claws and teeth.
Beltania 2015 Her back and start of tail (rt), you can see some of the skin damage, but look at all the balding spots coming thru and look at the different lengths of her hair. She hasn't been shaved in years - this is evidence of her self mutilation.
Sweet, sweet Beltania, hold on girl - there are people out there who care about love and being comfortable in one's own skin - I promise.
