My name is Pete Kachulis and I created this gofundme account for my wife Barbara Kachulis.
Barb was diagnose with Breast Cancer over four years ago, undergoing cemo, radiation and mastectomy. She was declared Cancer free after a year of fighting and a financal drain on us.
On December 25th 2015 Barb suffer a Heart Attack and had two stents placed into her for blocked arteries. The result was a five day stay in the hospital and a round of new drugs to take.
In late January of 2016 Barb had a attack of Congestive Heart Failure and aother four day stay in the Hospital. The Doctors was prescribing some pain relivers for her. Come to find out that her body does not take well to pain relivers She goes into la la land with any type of pain medication.
Barb started having back pains in November of 2015. After a battery of MRI's and biopsy's we where told , to your dismay, that Barb has Bone Cancer.
Barb, is now undergoing treatment for the Bone Cancer by receiving shots every two weeks plus a Bone Strengthener, for she has cracked bones and decompressed vertebrae in her back. They also want Barb to take a pill called Ibran, in all honesty we never thought a pill could cost $10,000. Now the drug plan that she has will pick up 60% and we take care of the other 40%. The cost for Barb's medication is monthly.
Barb is consantly in pain every day and it is hard for me to she her that way. I just wish I could take away the pain
for her.
Now, financally we are not doing great and I really do not know how to get you to donate. All the funds collected will go for medical and home expenses. Yes, we really need help. A dollar from 40,000 people would help. For the ones that think your Medical and Drug Insurance is going to pick up everything please feel free to let me know of plans that do pick up everything and will not charge you a arm and leg . With the help of God and all the family and friends we will fight this.
