We're Ashley and Luke. We started dating in 2010, and were just married September 21st, 2013. We've survived our first year, and we're ready for the next big thing.
I was diagnosed with PCOS in January of 2012, and have a family history full of infertility issues. I was the only pregnancy in a 25-year marriage. I've always been scared I wouldn't be able to have kids, but having kids is the thing I've wanted most all my life.
Because I knew it might be difficult, we decided to start trying almost right away. Unfortunately, we've had no luck. We've both undergone some testing, and while there is a chance for us to get pregnant on our own, it's a very slim chance. We've gone through two IUIs, and, unfortunately, both have failed. We're now moving on to IVF. I switched jobs, so now we have insurance to cover it, but we still need our deductible, coinsurance, and cost of meds. Asking for help is very difficult for us, especially when dealing with such a personal situation, but we're unsure where else to turn. Any help we receive is so genuinely appreciated. Even if all you can offer is your love, support, and prayers. Thank you all so much.
