Boston College for Ecuador

Hello Everyone,

As many of you may have heard, on the night of Saturday April 16th,  a 7.8 earthquake hit the coast of Ecuador followed by more than 500 aftershocks. This catastrophic event has left over 500 people dead and thousands wounded. I invite you all to donate as much as you can ($1, $10, $100, anything), so we can unite efforts to help those in need on behalf of the BC community. Currently, some cities have been destroyed, including Ecuador's most populated city, leaving thousands of families without a home, or access to water and electricity. Given the immediate need of these people, I invite you all to be as generous as possible. No words will be enough to express how grateful the Ecuadorian population will be to the BC community.

We have partnered with International Medical Corps (IMC - https://internationalmedicalcorps.org/
), who will facilitate the transfer of all your donations to the Teatro Sanchez Aguiler Foundation (http://teatrosanchezaguilar.org/teatro/la-fundacion/
). Your donations will be used to fund the Foundation's two stage relief efforts of medical assistance and reconstruction.

Please don't forget to share this link so alumni, professors, parents, and friends, can join us in this cause.

Thank you all!
