Help Presenter Attend Conference in San Diego

I am honored to be one of the selected presenters at American Society on Aging (ASA) 2014 Aging in America Conference.
BACKGROUND:
Personally, I am a grand daughter, daughter, sister, aunty, wife, mother of 3 and friend to many. Professionally, I am a public speaker, photographer with over 10 years of experience and recently published author of Feminine Transitions. I've contributed to the Smithsonian Institution, National Geographic, AOL and Discovery Channel.
GOOD NEWS!:
I am honored to be one of the selected presenters at American Society on Aging (ASA) 2014 Aging in America Conference. The 2014 Aging in America Conference will be held in San Diego at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel, March 11-15.
PURPOSE:
I will be doing a poster presentation on the topic of my book, Feminine Transitions: A Photographic Celebration of Natural Beauty, which promotes embracing our true natural beauty and loving ourselves and the changes that come with aging. Watch my trailer video below.
ASA's conference is educational so I will not be promoting my book during my presentation. Instead I will be advocating the topic of self-love and acceptance. However, copies of Feminine Transitions will be sold in the exhibition hall.
CHALLENGE:
As excited as I am to have been selected and educate the community, the expenses for me to get to San Diego faces me with a challenge. I have two choices: 1) raise the funds and be a presenter as planned or; 2) reject the offer and don't participate.
Option #2 is NOT an option. Therefore, I am seeking help from you.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION:
Your contribution will be used for ASA's Aging in America Conference fee, air fare, hotel accommodations, car rental and parking fees, food and beverage and for the shipment of my books to (and hopefully not from) San Diego, CA.

LIFE GOALS:
- I want to change the perception of beauty and aging on a global scale by educating communities on the importance of self-love.
- For the senior woman who feels that her wrinkles are a negative reminder of growing older, I want her to know that each line is a story map of her soul and her wisdom.
- I want to reinvent myself - Raise my profile and brand myself by using my experiences as a public speaker, photographer author and mother via motivational speaking, radio show, books and workshops to help others overcome obstacles faced by our society in general.
- I want to lead by example and not only tell my children, nieces, nephews and other younger generations, that once they follow their dreams, any and everything is possible.
