Update! I was able to buy a very gently used computer off of Craigslist, with a little bit of help from my family and a lot of help from all of you. I'd like to thank everyone that donated, once again.
However, incidental expenses that I would normally have been able to cover while I didn't have a computer have piled up, things that need to be replaced, repaired, or otherwise taken care of, and are still overwhelming and beyond my immediate financial capability. These are also overall far more immediate than I would like them to be. Anything that you can give is still very much appreciated.

Original: My six-ish year old MacBook has died, and as much as I wish I didn't, I need help replacing it. In this time, it's difficult to even apply for a full time job without a computer. But more than that, my computer was a huge part of my life. I used my computer for freelance photography, and schoolwork, and for a good portion of my social life.
Having my own computer allows me the flexibility to travel, and allowed me to meet some of the people who are my best friends. I'd like to get this out of the way and replaced, rather than letting the nagging worry of what I'm going to do about replacing my computer drag me down.
