Turtle Rescue of LI Solar Energy Goal

Our turtle/tortoise rescue takes in many sick and injured turtles each year and also takes in many unwanted pet turtles and tortoises. I am a licensed NY State Wildlife Rehabilitator so work closely with local veterinarians and nature centers. DEC as well as the local police and animal shelters also bring us sick, injured and abandonded turtles and tortoises. One of our biggest expenses is our electric bill so we really wish we could convert to solar power to help defray those costs. We likely need a new roof to do that as well, but would be so worth it in the long run. It will help us to continue to do what we do here without the burden of the high electric bill here on Long Island. Any and all donations to help us reach our goal will be greatly appreciated!
