On March 23, 2013, 21 year-old, Franky Briones, was struck by a drunk driver while on his way to work, to help support his mother and 4 younger siblings. This tragic accident left Franky as a quadriplegic, in which he is only capable of some movement involving his head and left hand. He now requires round-the-clock care, which is being provided by his mother, making it impossible for her to work and bring in an income. Recently, Franky and his family were evicted from their Oxnard home, as they were unable to make ends meet. They are currently living in a hotel, paid for by their attorney. The jury in this case has reached a $125 million verdict; however, it may be years before Franky receives any financial help. During this time, we ask for the public's help. This family of 6 is in need of all the help they can get during this very difficult time. Please spread the word. Anything will help and will be greatly appreciated by Franky and his beloved family. Thank you.
