MaryFaith Is Fighting for Adjunct Rights

I am contributing to Mary-Faith Cerasoli to help fund her fight for the fair treatment of adjunct faculty in higher education. College and University administrators are using a “cloak of invisibility” to conceal from students and the public their ruthless management strategy of “Keep adjuncts broke, afraid and moving”. The tactic is so effective and profitable that some schools now operate with a 90% contingent faculty professoriate.
Mary-Faith refuses to stay invisible. Even though impoverished and homeless she is putting up a good fight for economic justice. Her work is bringing nationwide awareness to the new plague of profiteers sucking cash out of America’s finest institutions – our system of higher education.
Check out the following links to some of what Mary-Faith has already done for the adjunct cause. She has never received a penny for any of these efforts but now needs help to keep fighting. Summertime is the lean season for our profession and Mary-Faith’s back is against the wall. She is a well-educated, talented, dedicated educator and could easily find employment elsewhere. If Mary-Faith is economically forced to leave higher education then our fight to improve adjunct working conditions will suffer.
