Help Get Sammy Out of the Dog House!
Meet Sammy!
Sammy's had a rough time. As a puppy he was brought to Found (a WONDERFUL shelter in Chicago that I have the pleasure to work with), and has since been adopted five times, and returned each time. He has a history of aggression, biting people he's unfamiliar with, destroying couches, and a bit of misandry (not a fan of giant men)... All of this led to him getting stuck in a kennel for four and a half years. He's been taken care of to the best of our abilities, but it's time for him to move on. I've expressed my interest in adopting him, and the shelter is running him through some extensive training to be sure he's ready for adoption, and when he is... I'll get a call. Now I can definitely afford having this dog, I've budgeted very carefully to be sure of that... but I'd like to be able to set him up in a real home with all the stuff he needs. That means a crate, bed, bowls, high quality food, storage containers, toys, a pinch collar, and so on. That in addition to the possible adoption fee (they haven't decided whether or not they're gonna just give him to me) is a LOT of money for a part-time worker. If you have the funds and the inclination, it would be great if you could help us out! He is already up-to-date on his shots and vaccienes, and is in perfect health!
He needs his forever home and if I have my way that'll be with me!
