I would like to first off let you know that your donation would also go beyond just a seminar for my own self growth. For every $20 donated I plan on doing an hour of volunteering for a charity or for a local food kitchen. To prove my hours I will be creating a calendar that you will be able to view where and when I volunteered! Paying it forward... <3
It is not easy for me to ask for help. If I ever needed help I would usually fall back into the negative excuses like, "Well I dont want to be a bother", or "I dont want to come off as weak or too dependant", but what I have come to realize is that I have SO MANY wonderful friends, some who I havent even met yet, who are incredibly supportive, loving, non-judemental, inspiring -- Those friends who I now call family. So I was finally able to push my walls down and am willing to ask for your help! :)
I have recently attended a seminar in Chicago called Pathways which teaches you ways of successful living. It was such an incredible experience that taught me to examine and understand myself from an upside-down, inside-out point of view. That kind of perspective gave me the strength and the courage to move forward in life with actions I never even thought of taking.
That being said, they have a basic level, which was the one I attended, and then they have an advanced level seminar as well. I would love the opportunity to take part in the advanced level so I can learn more from the areas which I struggle and stretch my abilities to create and become the best version of me.
The initial fee for the advanced class is $1500, but they only have them in Chicago so the rest would be for travel. I have never felt so strongly about a seminars ability to carry "The Answer" to all my questions on/in life (I know thats kind of silly), but I do believe that I have a lot to give and I want to be able to share those gifts that I have been given instead of covering them with fear.
