I have a big favor to ask: I have 2 GREAT books. Dig some of these reviews:
Reviews!!!! Goodreads.
Amazon Reviews! I'm international!
I will be promoting "These Foolish Things" and "At Last" on June 21 in Long Beach at Readers by the Sea. I want the tale of Liz and Ty to become international best sellers. I need to start with some promotional materials.
Since my birthday is June 1, I figured that if you were thinking of giving me a gift, the BEST gift would be help towards getting these items on the wish list: a banner from Staples, custom bookmarks from Isabella's Minibook Swag, actual copies of the books (through CreateSpace). Or the actual items.
I figure that most of the people who would consider this campaign already have read and/or have their own signed book copies. So, I asked myself, what would be an inducement that would persuade folks to part with their moolah?
Aha!
How about this: I'm writing the prequel to "These Foolish Things" and "At Last." It's called "The Baldie Chronicles" and it's set 5 years before "These Foolish Things." $100 or more gets a minor character who actually says stuff (and isn't obnoxious) named after you. I already have a couple of characters you'd want to punch in the face named after people I want to punch in the face (with slight variations to avoid any resemblance to actual people. Wink. Wink.)
Get in on the ground floor of a publishing juggernaut. And make a middle-aged lady happy. (Middle aged? Yeesh).
