Hello Fellow Musical Arts Lovers!
We are a 40+ member chorus based in Rochester NH. Our non-auditioned group is open to ages 12 to 90 who simply love to sing. We present 2 concert performances every Fall and Spring. Like all choral groups we have what every chorus has : RISERS. What we don't have is a permanent home or means to transport them from venue to venue. Right now we play round robin with them in our member's garages or in a church space as available. We move them in pick-ups with tarp coverings to protect them from rain and snow as needed.
We seriously need a covered 10 foot trailer to store and move our musical platforms.
Currently in full swing with our 40th Anniversary Year, we have realized an increasing importance to be more mobile. As a non-profit we depend upon donations and sponsors, as well as findraising, to get the job done. A trailer such as we need costs between $3000 - $4000 including hitches, registration, insurance etc so we are reaching out to Musical Arts enthusiasts to help us reach this first year goal so we can continue to enrich our town and the seacoast area with choral music.
All donations are tax deductible for 501c3 Non Profit Organizations. Your financial support of the musical arts is highly valued because it makes choral performances a reality. Please accept our most sincere thanks in advance on behalf of the Granite State Choral Society.
