Keeping up With Khloe

Our baby girl Khloe has been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect called an AV Canal Defect, we do not have full diagnosis as to whether it is a complete or partial defect yet. We will receieve this after she is born and evaluated by her cardiologist.
This defect results from Khloe having at least one hole in her heart, that will require open heart surgery to fix. The timing and costs of surgery will depend on which specific defect she ends up being diagnosed with. This defect is also highly assciated with chromosomal abnormalities, while we have ruled out Down Syndrome there are still many other chromosomal issues that could be found after Khloe is born. We are waiting for birth to do further testing to minimize the risk of further complications during pregnancy.
Our family is asking for any help you may be able to offer in order to help us offset the costs of Khloe's medical needs. We are doing our best to make sure our baby girl will have the best care out there, but it already has and will continue to be a financial burden for our family. We don't have an exact amount for the expected cost of all medical expenses yet so we are just putting $5,000 for our fundraising goal, this number will be revised once she is here and we have a better understanding of all costs that will be associated with her journey.
